This unique set even offers a hands-free telephone, so you can chat or solicit a friend's advice via speakerphone while working in the garage or kitchen. The set can be flush-mounted, and it comes with all necessary mounting accessories. The VE1040's profile is just over three inches thick when closed, and its screen resolution is XGA (1,024 x 768). In addition to normal broadcast reception of VHF and UHF channels, the unit's 125-channel tuner is capable of receiving many unscrambled cable-TV channels without the use of a converter box (cable service required).
